Examine Your Relationships
Relationships play a big role in growth. I can’t want to win and chill with losers. I can’t want better for myself but be with people who don’t want it as bad. Part of a successful relationship is both wanting one another to win. But some people sit at the same table as you, but don’t want to see you eat. So, continue to want better for yourself and encourage others but don’t lose yourself trying to change everyone. Part of maturity is realizing not everyone is going to grow up. So, you have to let those toxic and poisonous relationships go and believe God is cleaning your path. Personally, I don’t have friends because people don’t know how to take my honesty. I call it as it is. So, if I have a friend I would expect them to hold me accountable from an outside perspective. I always tell people, challenge me to be better and use me as a role model when given constructive criticism and see how I still love and respect you the same.
