Get to Know Moore

Kendrick Moore is the President of MooreMotivation, a leadership development platform dedicated to building discipline, character, and purpose in students, athletes, and organizations. Through MooreMotivation, Kendrick has traveled across the country developing leadership in both the athletic and academic arenas, working with institutions ranging from the USC Marshall School of Business to East Texas University Men’s Basketball. His work challenges individuals and teams to raise their standards, align actions with values, and lead with consistency both on and off the field.

In addition to his work with MooreMotivation, Kendrick serves as the Assistant Director of Equity & Leadership for the Connecticut Association of Schools – Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference (CAS-CIAC), where he leads transformative initiatives that strengthen school culture, leadership development, and athletic mentorship across the state. A former Division I athlete and coach with an MBA from Providence College, Kendrick brings a rare combination of competitive experience, educational insight, and strategic leadership to every program he designs.

At CAS-CIAC, Kendrick develops and facilitates leadership trainings, keynote assemblies, and athletic mentorship programs that empower students, coaches, and administrators to create inclusive, high-performing environments. His work spans restorative practices that rebuild school culture and climate, as well as customized team workshops centered on character, accountability, and collective growth.

Central to Kendrick’s philosophy is the MooreMotivation 5 Pillars of Leadership: Discipline, Commitment, Sacrifice, Resilience, and Lock-In. This framework serves as both a compass and a challenge, guiding schools, teams, and leaders to operate with purpose, consistency, and integrity.

Through his work at both the national and statewide levels, Kendrick continues to build cultures of excellence, reminding communities that leadership is not about position, but about preparation, persistence, and the power to uplift others.
